Waldoboro Police beat: Concession stand burglaries, OUI
WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 125 calls for service from May 15-30. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
June 1
Opal Keith, 23, of Nobleboro, was issued a summons by Officer Thomas Bartunek for operating after suspension.
Officer Larry Hesseltine is investigating the report from a citizen of the theft of a float.
Hesseltine is investigating a report from the Town of Waldoboro of the burglary of a concession stand.
Bartunek investigated an accident on the Atlantic Highway, at 11:13 p.m. Jesse Lucas, 23, of Presque Isle, was driving a 2012 Honda utility vehicle. Lucas was travelling westbound following the Atlantic Highway when an unknown animal ran out into the road. The operator could not avoid the animal, causing damage his vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report from the Foster Ballfield that someone broke into the concession stand. (second concession stand burglary)
Fuller is investigating a report from a citizen that he is being harassed by his neighbors.
June 3
Tiffanee Fraughton, 44, of Damariscotta, was arrested by Officer John Lash for operating under the influence, operating a motor vehicle without a license, and operating after revocation- habitual offender.
June 5
Jazman Nash, 28, of Warren, was issued a summons by Fuller for operating after suspension.
June 6
Michael Gardner, 46, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Hesseltine for failure to show proof of insurance and uninspected motor vehicle.
