Waldo County Sheriff’s beat
BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity July 30 - Aug. 6.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
July 30
Bernard D. Ginn, 60, of Winterport, was arrested for domestic violence terrorizing with a dangerous weapon and domestic violence assault on North Road in Winterport.
Aug. 1
Christopher Lapointe, 34, was arrested for unlawful sexual touching, domestic violence assault, and unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on Townhouse Road in Swanville.
A Winterport juvenile was issued summonses for illegal transportation of drugs by a minor, possession of a scheduled drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana by a minor in Winterport.
Tyler Ginn, 25, of Winterport, was issued summonses for leaving the scene of a property damage accident and operating an unregistered ATV on Loggin Road in Frankfort.
Aug. 3
Michael Embry, 22, of Swanville, was issued a summons for possession of a schedule W drug on Bailey Road in Knox.
Aug. 5
Nicholas G. Philbrick, 25, of Frankfort, was issued summonses for violation of a condition of release and operating after suspension on Airport Road in Winterport.
