Trevor Simon McAvey, obituary
THORNDIKE — Trevor Simon McAvey, 47 years, of Thorndike, Maine, passed away May 26, 2025.
He is survived by his parents John and Kathy McAvey; brother John, Jennifer, Jack, Emersyn, and Quinn; aunts Linda (Keith) and Genera (Bill); cousins Heidi, Lori, Diane, Karen, Jason, Keith, Kyle, and Maria; special friends Ruben and Tiffany and family, Chris and Jen and family, Mitch and Nan and family, Bruce and Linda, David, GW, Jason, Derek, Peter, Joey, and many more friends not mentioned.
A special heartfelt thank you to Heidi and Darren for their help.
He was predeceased by his mother Jacqueline; grandparents John and Madeline McAvey; Cam and Virginia Simon; and uncle Doug McAvey.
Trevor had a kind heart and was an animal lover, hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman, and a huge antique snow sled enthusiast. He had a successful career traveling all over the US as a Pipeline Inspector and especially loved working in Alaska.
He always made sure to keep in touch and help his friends, and will be greatly missed by everyone who loved him, along with his furry friends Sophie, Otis Jr, Maggie, and Hazel, who he loved to spoil.
There will be a graveside service at a later date, and a celebration of life at GW Martin’s Hogback Mountain.
