BELFAST — MaineHealth Waldo and Pen Bay Hospitals will hold a “Meet the Midwives” event on Wednesday, June 4, from 5 to 6 p.m. The event will be held on the second floor of the Biscone Health Center, located across the street from Waldo Hospital at 119 Northport Ave., in Belfast.

CNMs from both hospitals will be present for informal discussions with the public. Snacks will be provided, and prizes will be raffled off. Registration is not required.

MHWH recently began partnering with MHPBH to provide labor and delivery services at the MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital Family Birth Center in Rockport, after the birth center on the Waldo campus closed in April. CNMs from both hospitals now provide coverage at the Rockport location, and this event gives patients and community members an opportunity to meet the expanded care team.
