BANGOR — Steven R. Prescott, 50, of Bangor, passed away on April 6, 2016, after an illness. Steve was born in Belfast on Oct. 8, 1965, to Joel and Lillian Prescott.

Steve grew up in Belfast, proudly served in the Army National Guard for 10 years and earned an associates degree from Eastern Maine Community College. He was a long-time healthcare manager and the number one fan of the New England Patriots. Steve was well known for his great sense of humor.

Steve was predeceased by his parents. He leaves behind his daughter, Brittany Oettinger and her husband, Nick; his son, Cameron Prescott; his grandson, Chase Oettinger; and his siblings Joel, Robert and Shirley.

A service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
