Rockport Police beat: Speeding, insurance and inspection violations
ROCKPORT — Rockport police reported the following activity May 22-29. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
May 22
Joshua Clough, 20, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Sgt. Travis Ford for speeding 49 miles per hour in a 30 mph zone.
May 23
Amanda Dennison, 36, of Searsmont, was issued a summons by Ford for speeding 54 mph in a 35 mph zone; insurance violation.
May 24
Susanna Liller, 64, of Woolwich, was issued a summons by Officer Robbie Shaw for speeding 35 miles per hour in a 15 miles per hour school zone.
May 26
Owen Herbert, 18, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Shaw for operating without a license.
May 28
Nancy Aylward, 58, of Camden, was issued a summons by Officer Dana Smith for inspection violation.
Rebecca Wentworth, 69, of Blue Hill, was issued a summons by Smith for inspection violation.
Fern Gordon, 57, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Officer Jim Moore for violation of condition of release.
May 29
Alexander Shultz, 18, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Moore for inspection violation; insurance violation.
Diane Peterson, 52, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Moore for violating condition of release.
