ROCKPORT – Rockport police reported the following activity July 28-Aug 2. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

July 28

Emily L. Nyokka, 25, of Garbenville, Calif., was issued a summons by Officer Dana Smith for failure to stop at a stop sign.

Kenneth L. Johnson II, 26, of Union, was issued a summons by Smith for inspection violation and insurance violation.

July 29

Kristina M. Hill, 44, of Warren, was issued a summons by Smith for studded snow tire violation.

Ryan J. Pierce, 18, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Officer Cooper Plaisted for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.

July 31

Dannelle M. Landis, 37, of Searsport, was issued a summons by Officer Craig Cooley for seat belt violation.

Aug. 2

Melissa M. Barker, 23, of Camden, was issued a summons by Sgt. Travis Ford for operating an unregistered motor vehicle 30-150 days and insurance violation.

Austin P. Ranquist, 18, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Ford for speeding 54 mph in a 30 mph zone.

Christopher Springer, 22, of Belfast, was issued a summons by Ford for speeding 54 mph in a 30 mph zone.

Aug. 3

Jessica M. Linscott, 22, of Lincolnville, was issued a summons by Ford for seat belt violation.
