Rockport Police beat: Arrests, violating conditions of release, operating after suspension
ROCKPORT – Rockport police reported the following activity Jan. 12-18. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
Jan. 12
Christopher Helander, 47, of Searsmont, was issued a summons by Sgt. Travis Ford for insurance violation.
Chistopher North, 47, of Owls Head, was issued a summons by Officer Dana Smith for failure to register motor vehicle within 30-150 days.
Julie Schumann, 36, of Warren, was issued a summons by Smith for operating after suspension.
Jan. 13
Michael Drew, 29, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Smith for inspection violation.
Samantha Buchanan, 25, of Rockport, was arrested by Smith on a warrant.
Ryan Temple, 31, of Camden, was arrested by Ford for violating condition of release.
Jan. 15
Karen Burnstein, 73, of Camden, was issued a summons by Officer Craig Cooley for speeding 65 miles per hour in a 45 mile zone.
Jet Magri, 18, of Lincolnville, was issued a summons by Officer Robbie Shaw for speeding 60 miles per hour in a 45 mile zone.
Joshua Ladroga, 21, of Oxford, was issued a summons by Officer Jim Moore for failing to stop at a red light.
Jan. 17
Anthony Stone, 46, of Warren, was issued a summons by Smith for inspection violation.
Mark Wiegler, 45, of Warren, was issued a summons by Smith for failure to register motor vehicle within 30-150 days.
Sara Hatfield, 35, of Warren, was issued a summons by Smith for inspection violation.
Jordan Fontes, 19, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Smith for failure to stop for a red light.
Brooks, Inc., of Thomaston, was issued a summons by Smith for failure to register motor vehicle within 30-150 days.
Jan. 18
Shawna Scott, 22, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Smith for insurance violation and failure to register motor vehicle within 30-150 days.
