John Nicolas Ruf, Sept. 13, 1940 – Jan. 1, 2025.
Nick did not want a rainbow bridge sendoff. (But he did mention reconnecting with Cargo as he began a new journey.)
He adamantly lamented about not wanting a “Celebration of Life” service... typical Nick.
For today, we’ll keep it simple and call it “Nick's Event”.

Nick’s Event location is aptly at the Sail Power and Steam Museum. This is the spot where Nick and many of his friends launched his girlfriend into the harbor. There will be laughter. Food. Music. And more laughter.
