Camden Select Board to convene twice Tuesday
CAMDEN — The Camden Select Board will be busy Tuesday: First they will meet at 2:30 p.m. in the French Meeting Room to swear in two members elected June 13, and elect a chair and vice chair. Then, they will reconvene at 6:30 p.m. in the same space for a regularly scheduled meeting.
At the 20:30 p.m., meeting the agenda includes:
1. Swearing in of newly elected Board members
2. Election of Select Board Chairperson
3. Election of Select Board Vice-Chairperson
4. Reappointment of the Town Attorney for the ensuing year pursuant to Article IV of the Town Charter.
5. Reappointment of the following for the ensuing year, pursuant to Article II of the Town Charter; Police Chief, Fire Chief, and (General Assistance Administrator)
a. Town Manager (pursuant to Article II, Section 5 of the Town Charter)
b. Road Commissioner (pursuant to Title 23 M.R.S. Section 2701)
c. Harbormaster (pursuant to the Harbor & Waterways Ordinance, Article III, Section)
d. Confirmation of the Town Manager's appointments: Treasurer, Tax Collector, and the Town Clerk and Department Heads (pursuant to Article III of the Town Charter)
