Camden police announce road, parking lot closures for upcoming events
CAMDEN — Camden Police Chief Randy Gagne said that parking on lower Chestnut Street downtown will be limited on Monday, June 13, due to a funeral being held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church that day.
The funeral is set to begin at 11 a.m., and Chestnut Street will be coned off earlier in the morning between Chestnut Street Baptist Church and St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
The Public Safety upper parking lot will also be coned off for the same reason.
The upper parking lot behind the Knox Mill will be open for visitor parking as will the Public Safety lower lot.
Chestnut Street and the public safety upper lot will reopen at approximately 2 p.m. the same day.
Additionally, the entire Public Safety lot will be closed to normal parking all day on Tuesday, June 14, to allow for Election Day parking. The upper lot behind the Knox Mill can be used all day for normal parking needs.
Questions can be directed to Camden Police Department at 236-7953.
