Belfast Police beat
BELFAST — Belfast Police reported three traffic citations Aug. 4-28. Of the three citations, two were issued for inspection sticker violations; the third citation was issued for failure to register a vehicle. In addition to the three traffic citations, the following activity was reported.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
Aug. 4
Anthony N. Miner II, 32, of Stockton Springs, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Route 1 in Belfast.
Aug. 12
Nicole R. Hardy, 47, of Winterport, was issued a summons for operating under the influence on Swan Lake Ave.
Aug. 18
Leonard Giroux, 62, of Searsport, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Back Searsport Road.
Aug. 21
Kevin D. Grass, 51, of Belfast, was arrested for unlawful possession of a scheduled drug and violating a condition of release on Congress Street.
Aug. 25
Joseph L. Baker, 26, of Morrill, was issued summonses for leaving the scene of a property damage accident and operating under the influence on Main Street.
