Stolen saddles, a pilfered light bulb and lots of illegal drugs

    BELFAST — A Waldo County grand jury handed down 48 indictments against 46 individuals Nov. 14.

    Donald J. Abbott-Roy, 20, of Newport, was indicted for burglary, theft by unauthorized taking and operating after suspension. Abbott-Roy is accused of burglarizing a Knox residence June 28 and taking three saddles valued are more than $500. This is a Maine State Police case.

    Laurel Belden, 38, of Belfast, was indicted for two counts of unlawful trafficking in drugs (hydrocodone) in Swanville Aug. 8 and Aug. 30. This is a Waldo County Sheriff's Office case.

    Hector J. Bohan, 23, of Lincolnville, was indicted for aggravated criminal operating under the influence, unauthorized use of property, aggravated criminal mischief, operating after suspension, and two counts of unlawful possession of drugs. Bohan is accused of taking a van without permission, OUI, damaging the van and possessing methylphenidate (Ritalin) and clonazepam in Belfast Aug. 31. This is a Belfast Police Department case.

    Matthew D. Calhoun, 22, of Detroit, was indicted for two counts of burglary, one count of stealing drugs and one count of theft by unauthorized taking. Calhoun is accused of entering one Troy residence June 25 and taking OxyContin and entering another and taking a wooden telephone and a trophy deer mount. This is a Maine State Police case.

    Trevor C. Canning, 30, of Swanville, was indicted for one count each of theft by unauthorized taking and violating conditions of release. Canning is accused of taking a lizard cage light bulb from Foster's Family Pet Center in Belfast Sept. 20. This is a Belfast Police Department case.

    Roxanne J. Conroy, 23, of Thorndike, was indicted for forgery and theft by unauthorized taking. Conroy is accused of forging checks in excess of $1,055 between July 30 and Aug. 7 for items purchased at Troy General Store and Hilltop Store, among others. This is a Maine State Police case.

    Kara Lee Cookson, 26, of Frankfort, was indicted for unlawful possession of drugs and violating conditions of release. Cookson is accused of possessing heroin while on bail in Belfast Aug. 8.

    Wendell Corey, 34, of Northport, was indicted for unlawful trafficking in drugs (OxyContin) in Palermo June 8. This is a Maine Drug Enforcement Agency case.

    William Costello-Hurley, 20, of Swanville, was indicted for aggravated criminal mischief for damaging a Belfast city pool Aug. 8. Costello-Hurley is accused of damaging lifeguard equipment, windows, a soda machine, a door, flower pots and a garbage can. This is a Belfast Police Department case.

    Rodney Glidden, 61, of Palermo, was indicted for two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs (OxyContin), unlawful possession of drugs (hydrocodone) and criminal forfeiture of $1,860. The indictments stem from incidents in Palermo Aug. 15, Aug. 17 and Aug. 21, and this is a Maine Drug Enforcement Agency case.

    Robert N. Cushman Jr., 47, of Belmont, was indicted for two counts of unlawful possession of drugs and one count of marijuana cultivation. Cushman is accused of possessing OxyContin and methadone and growing more than five marijuana plants in Belmont Aug. 29. This is a Maine Drug Enforcement Agency case.

    Mark A. Fuller, 33, of Knox, was indicted for domestic violence assault, assault and criminal mischief. Fuller is accused of assaulting two people and causing damage to a deck railing and a washing machine in Jackson Sept. 10. This is a Waldo County Sheriff's Office case.

    Jacob T. Graffam-Connors, 28, of Belfast, was indicted for theft by unauthorized taking and violating conditions of release. Graffam-Connors is accused of taking $36 worth of lottery tickets from Circle K in Belfast. This is a Belfast Police Department case.

    Nicholas Allen Hart, 26, of Searsport, was indicted for driving to endanger May 18 in Brooks and causing serious bodily injury to two individuals. This is a Maine State Police case.

    Jeffrey J. Harvey, 52, of Bangor, was indicted for assault on an officer, refusing to submit to arrest and violating conditions of release. Harvey is accused of injuring Waldo County Sheriff's Deputy Jordan Tozier in Unity July 21. This is a Waldo County Sheriff's Office case.

    Justin T. Henderson, 24, of Burnham, was indicted for unauthorized taking. Henderson is accused of taking motor vehicle parts from Midnight Auto in Burnham Sept. 29. This is a Waldo County Sheriff's Office case.

    Justin T. Henderson, 24, of Burnham, was indicted for theft of two cast iron bathtubs in Burnham Feb. 3. This is a Waldo County Sheriff's Office case.

    Justin T. Henderson, 24, of Burnham, was indicted for burglary and theft by unauthorized taking. Henderson is accused of entering a building in Burnham Jan. 15 and taking a 12-foot aluminum boat. This is a Waldo County Sheriff's Office case.

    Robert J. Jurdak III, 32, of Unity, was indicted for one count each of theft by unauthorized taking, burglary and violating conditions of release. Jurdak is accused of the Sept. 16 theft of four compound bows and cases, valued at more than $10,000, from a structure at Unity College in Unity. This is a Maine State Police case.

    Joshua Kaufmann, 26, of Unity, was indicted for operating after revocation, furnishing liquor to a minor and violating conditions of release. Kaufman's indictment stems from an incident in Thorndike Sept. 29. This is a Maine State Police case.

    Gene H. Larrabee, 34, of Belfast, was indicted for six counts of burglary, seven counts of theft by unauthorized taking and six counts of aggravated criminal mischief. Larrabee is accused of burglarizing residence in Belfast May 1, 2011, June 9, 2011, Aug. 1, 2011, and Jan. 26, 2012, and March 20, 2012, and taking copper pipes and/or scrap metal, which was then damaged or destroyed, and a stamp machine. He is also accused of entering Camden National Bank in Belfast Oct. 1, 2011, and taking and damaging copper pipes, and burglarizing PennyMac Corp. in Belfast April 11, 2012, and taking copper pipes. This is a Belfast Police Department case.

    Christopher J. Lawrence, 30, of Northport, was indicted for assault and terrorizing stemming from an incident in Northport Sept. 28. This is a Waldo County Sheriff's Office case.

    Michelle Leadbetter, 39, of Belfast, was indicted for one count of unlawful trafficking in drugs (Vicodin) in Belfast July 5. This is a Belfast Police Department case.

    Todd L. Lee, 27, of Searsmont, was indicted for unlawful possession of drugs (OxyContin) in Belfast Oct. 9. This is a Belfast Police Department case.
    Patrick C. Mackley, 26, of Benton, was indicted for domestic violence assault, domestic violence terrorizing, endangering the welfare of a child, obstructing report of a crime or injury and unlawful possession of drugs (hydrocodone) in Unity Aug. 31. This is a Waldo County Sheriff's Office case.

    Leroy D. Malcolm Jr., 30, of Detroit, was indicted for two counts of burglary, one count of stealing drugs, one count of theft by unauthorized taking and violating conditions of release. Malcolm is accused of entering one Troy residence June 25 and taking OxyContin and entering another and taking a wooden telephone and a trophy deer mount. This is a Maine State Police case.

    Mark Meierdirk, 39, of Unity, was indicted for unlawful furnishing drugs (OxyContin) in Unity March 1 and unlawful possession of drugs (OxyContin) in Unity March 15. Meierdirk was also indicted for false public alarm or report March 14 in Unity. This is a Waldo County Sheriff's Office case.

    Thomas Merrill, 26, of Belfast, was indicted for two counts of unlawful trafficking in drugs (morphine) in Belfast Aug. 3 and Aug. 7. This is a Maine Drug Enforcement Agency case.

    Scott F. Mosher, 44, of Montville. Mosher was indicted for domestic violence assault stemming from an incident in Montville Aug. 3. This is a Maine State Police case.

    Lucas P. Perrigo, 29, of Belfast, was indicted for one count of domestic violence assault and two counts of arson.  This is a Maine Fire Marshal's Office case stemming from an incident Oct. 5 in Frankfort.

    April J. Pattershall, 30, of Stockton Springs, was indicted for one count each of domestic violence terrorizing, terrorizing and harassment by telephone or electronic communication device. This is a Waldo County Sheriff's Office case stemming from an incident Sept. 6 in Stockton Springs.

    Cameron Philbrook, 37, of Belmont, was indicted for one count of unlawful trafficking in drugs (OxyContin) in Belfast may 4. This is a Maine Drug Enforcement Agency case.

    Norma J. Philbrook, 40, of Belfast, was indicted for theft by unauthorized taking. Philbrook is accused of taking more than $2,511 in cash from VFW Post 3108 in Belfast between Jan. 5 and July 30. This is a Belfast Police Department case.

    Leon A. Rancourt, 43, of Winterport, was indicted for negotiating a worthless instrument (bad check). Rancourt is accused of writing a worthless check for $1,229.32 to Viking Lumber in Belfast. This is a Belfast Police Department case.

    Lacey V. Reed, 19, of Monroe, was indicted for unlawful possession of drugs (OxyContin) in Swanville Sept. 28. This is a Waldo County Sheriff's Office case.

    Matthew C. Reed, 29, of Penobscot, was indicted for burglary, theft by unauthorized taking and burglary of a motor vehicle. Reed is accused of breaking into a Pike Industries building and a vehicle at the business in Prospect July 19 and taking socket wrench sets, drills, various saws, a tool box and assorted tools valued at more than $1,000. This is a Maine State Police case.

    Ashley Richards, 35, of Yarmouth, was indicted for negotiating a worthless instrument for writing a worthless check for $5,184 to Urethane Foam Insulations in Palermo Jan. 10. This is a Waldo County Sheriff's Office case.

    William J. Robichaud, 29, of Bucksport, was indicted for burglary, theft by unauthorized taking and burglary of a motor vehicle. Robichaud is accused of breaking into a Pike Industries building and a vehicle at the business in Prospect July 19 and taking socket wrench sets, drills, various saws, a tool box and assorted tools valued at more than $1,000. This is a Maine State Police case.

    Dakota Thomas Sanford, 19, of Belfast, was indicted for burglary and theft by unauthorized taking. Sanford is accused of entering a city building and taking a flashlight in a black case, a radio and assorted kitchen knives. This is a Belfast Police Department case.

    Damion Saucier, 19, of Belfast, was indicted for aggravated criminal mischief for damaging a Belfast city pool Aug. 8. Saucier is accused of damaging lifeguard equipment, windows, a soda machine, a door, flower pots and a garbage can. This is a Belfast Police Department case.

    Austin T. Stevens, 18, of Swanville, was indicted for three counts of burglary, one count of stealing drugs, four counts of theft by unauthorized taking and three counts of violating conditions of release. Stevens is accused of burglarizing a residence in Waldo Aug. 23 and taking a Cruz reader, six antique copper tea kettles, copper piping, a copper lantern, six $2 bills and a roll of quarters. In Swanville Oct. 17, Stevens is accused of burglarizing a Swanville residence and taking jewelry and watches, U.S. and foreign currency, a pocket knife, a Sentry safe, a Harley Davidson key and a Christmas ornament. He is also accused of burglarizing a Waldo residence Oct. 31 and taking a brass cigarette holder, wooden jewelry box, silver wedding ring, a copper milk can, a copper 50-gallon water tank and a copper watering can and in Searsmont Nov. 4, he is accused of theft of four tire trims and four batteries. This is a Waldo County Sheriff's Office case.

    Jeremiah Stevens, 60, of Troy, was indicted for criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon. Stevens is accused of threatening an individual with a rifle or shotgun in Troy Aug. 11. This is a Maine State Police case.

    Scott Swift, 25, of Belfast, was indicted for two counts of unlawful trafficking in drugs (OxyContin) in Belfast on May 2 and May 4. This is a Maine Drug Enforcement Agency case.

    Kevin Thibodeau, 30, of Windham, was indicted for theft by unauthorized taking for taking a wallet and its contents in Belfast Aug. 24. This is a Belfast Police Department case.

    Andrea Walsh, 41, of Swanville, was indicted for unlawful trafficking in drugs (hydrocodone) in Swanville May 2. This is a Waldo County Sheriff's Office case.

    Herbert Walters, 51, of Bucksport, was indicted for burglary. Walters is accused of entering Sunrise Materials in Searsport July 30. This is a Belfast Police Department case.

    Samantha F.M. White, 29, of Newburgh, was indicted for theft by unauthorized taking. White is accused of theft of $20 cash, a bag of tomatoes and a bag of cucumbers in Winterport Aug. 14. This is a Waldo County Sheriff's Office case.

    Sheryl Warman, 45, of Stockton Springs, was indicted for two counts of unlawful trafficking in drugs (hydrocodone) in Stockton Springs July 12 and in Belfast July 13. This is a Waldo County Sheriff's Office case.
