CAMDEN — The semi-annual Cash for Clothes Sale to benefit Coastal Opportunities will be held Saturday, Oct. 25 through Monday, Oct. 27, at the American Legion Hall on Pearl Street in Camden. This will be the 80th Cash for Clothes Sale.

Shoppers at the Cash for Clothes 80th sale will be treated to music of the 70s throughout Saturday and Sunday. As people enter the sale they will be given a raffle ticket.  At intervals throughout the day, tickets will be drawn and a prize will be awarded to the holder of the lucky number. The winner must be present to win.

Other special prizes will also be presented at unannounced times based on the number 80. Check out the many old posters adorning the walls representing the many years of sales. "If you have never shopped at Cash for Clothes, come to the 80th to treat yourself, and possibly win a prize as well."

FRIDAY, OCT. 24 RECEIVING — 8:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

SATURDAY, OCT. 25 OPENING SALE — 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

SUNDAY, OCT, 26 1⁄2 PRICE SALE — 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

MONDAY, OCT. 27 BAG SALE — 7 a.m. - 11 a.m.

The Cash for clothes sale is the major community fundraising event for Coastal Opportunities, an agency that assist adults with intellectual disabilities to become participating members in the social and economic community.

This fall, two area businesses have come forward to co-sponsor the Sale. Allen Insurance & Financial and The First will be underwriting a significant portion of the operating costs associated with staging the Cash for Clothes fall sale.
