Event has passed

ROCKPORT — The 2024 season of talks in the Rockport Conservation Commission's climate series at the Rockport Public Library kicks off on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at 6 p.m. Brian Robinson of Evergreen Home Performance, LLC, will be discussing how homeowners can navigate cost-effective and efficient home improvements.

The presentation will focus on strategies for eliminating excess air leakage, decreasing energy and water consumption, and finding high-efficiency appliances. All of these strategies can help local citizens increase the comfort of their home, reduce their impact on the environment, and address climate resilience in Maine.

Robinson joined Evergreen Home Performance, LLC in 2009 as Vice President and is a certified Building Analyst and Energy Auditor. His passion is helping Maine homeowners with improvements that achieve dramatically greater comfort and efficiency with smaller carbon footprints.

Outside of work, Robinson has served on Camden's Energy and Parks & Recreation Committees and currently serves on the Camden Conservation Commission. He can often be found volunteering for the Camden Snow Bowl Ski Patrol and spending time with his friends and family outdoors.

Additional talks in the climate series will be held on March 20, April 17, May 15, and June 5. Visit rockportlibrary.net for more details.
