Rockland tax bills display incorrect decimal points, but no effect on total due

ROCKLAND — The city of Rockland said Wednesday, Aug. 27, that its tax bills were sent out with valuation and homestead exemption values incorrectly displayed. A decimal was placed in the value fields, which resulted in wrong amounts being displayed. For example the Homestead Exemption displayed as 100.00 and should be 10,000.  The total amount due is correct.  If anyone has any questions please contact the Assessing Office at 270 Pleasant Street or call 207-594-0303.
