ROCKPORT — America's Boating Course, in-depth boating safety, will be held at Camden Hills Regional High School in Rockport, Tuesdays for seven weeks beginning March 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Instruction provided by certified United States Power Squadrons® instructors. The $90 NASBLA certified course includes an instruction manual, a CD, and a digital charting DVD.

The course provides students with the completion certificate needed to obtain a boat license or safety certification required in all other New England states.

In addition, many boat insurance companies offer discounts on boating insurance to boaters who successfully complete this course, according to a news release.

Registration is through Five Town CSD Adult and Community Education (236-7800, ext. 5) and closes Tuesday, March 10.
