The Pine Tree Wrestling League had a busy weekend with local teams from Knox and Waldo counties traveling around the region to compete.

OCEANSIDE
The Mariners hosted a meet March 8 with Troy Howard of Belfast, Hope-Appleton-Lincolnville, SaWaLi of Sabattus and Bath.

The Mariners went 3-1 on the day beating HAL 48-42; downing SaWaLi 65-6; falling to Troy Howard 54-34; and defeating Bath 48-36.

Following are individual results with weight, name, season record, results for Saturday.

75 pounds – Brian Henshaw (4-6) was pinned by E. Andrew (HAL) at 0:42; Carter Fogerty (12-4) won by forfeit over SaWaLi; won by major decision over W. Staples (Troy Howard) 15-4; and pinned W. Miller (Bath) at 2:41.

81 pounds  – Fogerty was pinned by M. Sawyer (HAL) at4:12; Henshaw was pinned by K. Burns (SaWaLi) at 2:06; was pinned by T. Smith (Troy Howard) at 0:25; and pinned B. Andrews (Bath) at 0:29.

87 pounds – Alex Fogerty (15-1) won by forfeit over HAL; pinned E. Rae (SaWaLi) at 4:22; pinned I. Ham (Troy Howard) at 3:40; and pinned C. Larmon (Bath) at 0:23.

93 pounds – Oceanside forfeited to D. Allen (Hal); double forfeit with SaWaLi; forfeited to P. Curtis (Troy Howard); and forfeited to J. Haycock (Bath).

99 pounds – Ben Ripley (15-1) won by forfeit over HAL; pinned C. Burns (SaWaLi) at 0:50; pinned C. Pelliteri (Troy Howard) at 0:39; and won by forfeit over Bath.

105 pounds – Oceanside forfeited to D. Kelly (HAL); double forfeit with SaWaLi; forfeited to H. Blood (Troy Howard); and double forfeit with Bath.

111 pounds – Oceanside forfeited to N. Lang (HAL); double forfeit with SaWaLi; forfeited to H. Thompson (Troy Howard); and forfeited to A. Balthazar (Bath).

117 pounds – Seth Sweet (7-5) won by forfeit over HAL; Connor McGonagle (16-0) pinned Zoe Buteau (SaWaLi) at 1:08; pinned C. Curry (Troy Howard) at 1:29; and Sweet was pinned by D. Rector (Bath) at 0:11.

123 pounds – McGonagle pinned B. Benson (HAL) at 0:12; Sweet won by forfeit over SaWaLi; pinned T. Veilleux (Troy Howard) at 1:25; and McGonagle pinned T. Foster (Bath) at 0:53.

130 pounds – Lucien Marriner (10-6) won by forfeit over HAL and SaWaLi; was pinned by J. Raccioppi (Troy Howard) at 0:25; and was pinned by I. Cogswell (Bath) at 0:32.

137 pounds – Brennan Harris (7-8) won by forfeit over HAL; lost by Tech-Fall to A. Dennis (SaWaLi) 17-0; was pinned by D. Warren (Troy Howard) at 1:09;  and was pinned by A. Eich (Bath) at 1:12.

145 pounds – Alex McGlaughlin (14-2) won by forfeit over HAL and SaWaLi; was pinned by J. Watterman (Troy Howard) at 0:46; and pinned T. Avery (Bath) at 2:28.

155 pounds – Mabel Monroe (11-5) won by forfeit over HAL and SaWaLi; pinned H. Brewer (Troy Howard) at 3:31; and was pinned by A. Martin (Bath) at 0:35.

170 pounds – Oceanside double forfeit with HAL and SaWaLi; Caleb Burns (10-5) was pinned by K. Harford (Troy Howard) at 0:23; and pinned T. Haggett (Bath) at 0:53.

195 pounds – Burns was pinned by L. St. Clair (HAL) at 0:44; double forfeit with SaWaLi, Troy Howard and Bath.

240 pounds – Zoe Goff (11-5) was pinned by T. Gerry (HAL) at 0:32; won by forfeit over SaWaLi; was pinned by A. Sanborn (Troy Howard); and won by forfeit over Bath.

CAMDEN-ROCKPORT
The Schooners traveled to Winslow, where they competed against Dirigo, falling 48-36; they beat Hampden 54-30; beat Winslow 57-30; tied Messalonskee Independents 6-6 winning two out of three matches; and lost to Nokomis 54-36.

"The kids wrestled well and we did respectably even though we were down three wrestlers due to lingering illness,” said Camden-Rockport coach Aaron Henderson. “Hopefully we will be back to full strength next week when we again face Nokomis. Standout wrestlers from CRMS on the day were Ian Henderson and Joe Davis."

87 pounds – Ian Henderson won by forfeit over Hampden; pinned Josh Brown (Nokomis) at 2:11; pinned Nolan Downs (Dirigo) at 0:37; won by forfeit over Winslow; and won by decision over Grady Reardon (Messalonskee) 12-6.

93 pounds – Camden-Rockport forfeited to Darin Frye (Hampden); forfeited to Jacob Booth (Nokomis); double forfeit with Dirigo; and forfeited to Michaels Bisson (Winslow).
