Peace and Justice Group to show interview of Native American after almost half a century behind bars

On Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 6 p.m., at the Belfast Free Library, the Peace and Justice Group of Waldo County will show a recent interview with Leonard Peltier, Native American activist recently released to his home after almost half a century behind bars, speaking on his continued commitment to Indigenous rights, his time as a political prisoner, and coming home.
"Come share his inspiring message and teaching, and learn about Penobscot leadership for Environmental Justice here in Maine," said Peace and Justice Group of Waldo County.
