Brrr.....was it cold for a play off game Friday! It was a cold fall day, but both teams came to play.

MMS took the early lead with only a minute and forty seconds gone by in the game Stephanie Morse took a shot around the 18 and zipping into the back of the net it went. MMS never looked back after this goal. They continued to battle and scored two more goals in the first half. 9:20 gone Stephanie scored again and then Abby Lash scored 13:10 gone on a great cross by Lizzi Swan. At the end of one, MMS has a 3-0 lead.

During the second half it was MMS taking charge. Abby Lash was able to score again with 8:40 gone in the second giving MMS the final score of 4-0.

Great passing took place with all MMS girl players. Defense and offense worked together well. It was a nice[ly] played game for MMS, their first game of the playoffs, a 4-0 win.

MMS will be facing Woolwich at their home field Wednesday at about 4:45 after the boys MMS team faces [Great Salt Bay] for the semi finals.
