THOMASTON — The Oceanside Babe Ruth organization has announced that tryouts its two baseball teams will be held Sunday, Apr. 30 at 2 p.m. at the Oceanside High School baseball field in Thomaston. 

The tryouts are for boys ages 13-15 that reside in Rockland, Thomaston, South Thomaston, Cushing, Owls Head and St. George. 

There are openings for up to 30 players spread across the two teams that will be sponsored in part by Rockland Ford. 

Any player born prior to May 1, 2004 and on/or after May 1, 2001 is eligible to play on the teams.
