Merryspring Nature Center talk explores hemp and CBD

Event has passed

Ed Geis will lead an online presentation called “All About Hemp and CBD,” hosted by Merryspring Nature Center on Tuesday, January 16, at 12 p.m.

CBD is known for a wide range of medicinal uses and has become quite popular since the Federal Government legalized hemp and CBD several years ago. Geis will discuss his experience growing organic hemp as well as what scientific research and medical practice has revealed about this plant’s uses for health and wellness.

Geis grows USDA-certified organic hemp in Camden using regenerative farming methods and crafts CBD products including oil, tincture, and topical balm.

This talk is part of Merryspring’s Online Winter Talk series, co-sponsored by Camden Riverhouse Hotel.
