Matt Hill named regional orthopedics practice manager at Pen Bay, Waldo

ROCKPORT and BELFAST — Pen Bay Medical Center and Waldo County General Hospital are pleased to announce Matt Hill has been named the regional practice manager of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine for the two hospitals.

“Matt's dedication and commitment to building strong relationships and providing excellent patient care have been evident in his work with Waldo’s Orthopedics & Sports Medicine services. His leadership and coordination efforts have helped to streamline processes and enhance communication among our care teams,” said Dawn Place, senior director of practice operations for Waldo County General, in a news release. “As regional practice manager, Matt will continue to drive collaboration and alignment between the two facilities, ultimately improving the delivery of care for our patients. We are grateful for Matt's contributions to our organization and look forward to the continued success and growth of our Orthopedics & Sports Medicine services under his guidance.”

A graduate of Tufts University, Hill joined Waldo in September 2020 as practice manager for the Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Wound Care, Podiatry and Surgical Associates departments. In his new role, he will share his time between Pen Bay and Waldo to support the Orthopedics and Sports Medicine care team members and providers at both locations.
