ROCKLAND — On May 19, 2015, Marjorie R. Moran passed peacefully after a long illness. She was the daughter of Herbert E. and Dora Mae (Betts) Brown.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, John E. Moran; and her son, Michael J. Moran and his wife, Janit, two brothers, Herbert E. and Melvin F. Brown; three sisters, Eileen E. Dorazio, Dorothy M. Burbine and Geraldine V. Reardon.

She is survived by her three sons, John E. and his wife, Vanessa, William H. and his wife, Dorothy, and David T. and his wife, Jeanne; one daughter, Marjorie A. and her husband, Joseph Flanagan; four sisters, Adele M. Surette, Lillian S Oskar, Mary (Loiuse) Bradley and Esther M. Kumpf; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

She loved bingo, puzzles, crosswords and dancing. She worked as a certified nursing assistant for several years. She will be greatly missed by all.

Visiting hours will be held June 8 from 1 to 2 p.m., with a service to follow from 2 to 3 p.m. at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave. in Belfast.
