CAMDEN – The 35th annual Maine Sport Triathlon will be held Sunday, Sept. 6 at Barrett’s Cove on Megunticook Lake. The race is sponsored by Maine Sport Outfitters. Registration begins at 8 a.m. the morning of the race, with a start time of 9 a.m. sharp.

The race consists of a half-mile swim in Megunticook Lake, a 26 mile bike loop through the rolling hills of Camden, Hope, and Lincolnville, and a 6.6 mile run on an up and down course in Camden. Entries may be individual racers or two and three person teams. We frequently attract 200 participants.

Some of the race day features include category prizes, t-shirts to all participants, and post-race refreshments.
