The motto for the conference was “One Team, One Mission.”

According to Knox County Sheriff Chief Deputy Tim Carroll, the conference incorporated a full schedule of trainings and time to connect with the 42 exhibitors representing the latest technology in firearms, mobile communications, uniforms, cruisers, security, and tactical protective gear.

Law enforcement officers had the opportunity to attend trainings including human trafficking, anti-terrorism and Muslim culture, animal abuse and investigations, violent crimes, and emerging threats.

“The conference is a great opportunity for all of us to get together and share information,” said Sheriff Donna Dennison.” Carroll agreed since he spent time during the conference meeting with other attendees regarding current legislative issues relating to law enforcement.
