LINCOLNVILLE — The Lynx hosted the Hawks in small school Busline League hoops Monday with both the boys and girls picking up wins over the visitors.

In the boys game, Lincolnville captured the win 58-28 over Hope.

Scoring for Lincolnville was Skye Abaldo with 19 points; Owen Markowitz 12; Eric Andrews eight; Simon Polk and Ivan Young six each; Braden Moulton four; and Hayden Marino three.

For Hope, Owen Cooper and Josh Pearse had six points each; Addison Barnhill and Ethan Burgess four each; Rylee Rapp three; and Kieran McGrath and Nick Turnbull two each.  

In the girls game, the Lincolnville squad captured a 40-26 win over Hope. 

Scoring for Lincolnville was, Kristina Kelly with 19 points; Miranda Dunton 11; Lili Clement eight and Hope Osgood two. 

For Hope, Francis Ostenson had 10 points; Haileigh Luce and Olivia Brown six each; and Elsa Chandler and Mila Bonometti two each. 

Hope will host Islesboro Wednesday, Nov. 18. This will be for the boys only. Nov. 30 they will host Appleton Village School when they return from the Thanksgiving break.
