ROCKLAND- The following cases were closed in Knox County Criminal Court from Jan. 25-29.  The Unified Criminal Court is a system for processing criminal actions and certain associated civil violation actions. It is expected to increase efficiency by eliminating the duplicative clerical workload created by the current system of case transfer between the District and Superior Court by reducing the number of court appearances required to process individual cases, according to the State of Maine Judicial Branch.

Craig Gould Beal, 56, of Friendship, violating condition of release, 48 hours in jail.

Caleb Conway, 21, of Nobleboro, night hunting, $1000 fine, three days in jail.

Jason Corbett, 20, of Rockport, minor consuming liquor, $200 fine.

Jade E. Cummings, 21, of Northport, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine, 24 hours in jail; violating condition of release, 24 hours in jail.

Danielle Demeritt, 30, of Rockland, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine, one year in jail with all but 14 days suspended, probation two years.

Robert R. Demmons, 58, of Tenants harbor, indecent conduct, dismissed; indecent conduct, two counts, 364 days in jail; violating condition of release, 90 days in jail.

Donald E. Dodge, 41, of Warren, keeping unlicensed dog, $50 fine.

Joan Dow, 51, of Owls Head, operating under the influence, dismissed; driving to endanger, $575 fine.

Blair Drinkwater, 33, of South Thomaston, operating under the influence, $1000 fine, license suspended 150 days; operating while license suspended or revoked, dismissed.

Nicole Dube, 30, of Rockland, operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, $500 fine; smoking in a motor vehicle with a person less than 16 years of age, $50 fine.

David M. Estes, 57, of St. George, disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures, seven days in jail; disorderly conduct, loud unreasonable noise, seven days in jail; violating condition of release; seven days in jail.

Angela Ewan, 27, of Warren, keeping unlicensed dog, $50 fine.
