ROCKLAND – The Second Annual Karen's Run-Walk for cancer had a lot of people running, an abundance of volunteers and great host's at Trackside Station courtesy of Kelley and Mike Woods.

Proceeds will go to The Maine Cancer Foundation directed towards clinical research which is what is needed for cures to be discovered and to the "Energy 4 Life" program which helps those locally dealing with cancer in memory of Karen Ware. The money stays in the State of Maine.

This event is sponsored by Maritime Energy and the Ware family along with a network of volunteers and supporters that help to make this day possible.

There were awards for the top three male and female finishers and for these divisions for both men & women: 14 & under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70+.
