The Midcoast sports scene was busy with several sporting events this weekend.

On Saturday, Medomak Valley went to Ellsworth for a tournament and took fifth place with 72 points.

106 Colby Hyde 11-8, 2 pins. Lost by pin to Cara McGray from Madison at 3:02. won by pin over Tristan Taylor from Washington Academy at 4:11. won 10-4 over Michele Maybury from Brewer. and lost by pin to Alex Burbank from Bucksport at :49. Colby took 4th place.

138 Steven Thompson 26-2, 15 pins. won by pin over Rylee Theriault from Fort Kent at :58. won by pin over Cory Jandreau from Caribou at 3:12. and won 12-8 over Logan Lord from Ellsworth. Steven took 1st place and his win in the finals was his 100th career win.

152 Elias Miller 21-6, 11 pins. won by pin over CJ Roucheleau from Fort Kent at 1:36. won by pin over Keigan Riccard from Bucksport at 2:53. and lost by pin to Peyton Cole from Ellsworth at 2:45. Eli took 2nd place.

170 Tyler Masonoff 9-10, 1 pin. lost by pin to Matthew Griffin from PCHS at 1:00. lost by pin to Cole Dube from Madison at 1:11.

195 Elijah Lash 8-15, 4 pins. lost by tech-fall 15-0 to Nick Keene from Oceanside. won by injury default over Trever Theriault from Fort Kent. lost by pin to PC Greer from Bucksport at 3:48.

220 Eric Benner 19-5, 11 pins. won by pin over Sam Murphy from Bucksport at 2:34. lost 4-0 to Jared Smith from John Bapst. won by injury default from Sam Rideout from Bucksport. won by pin over Dakota Page from Mattanawcook at 2:52. Eric took 3rd place.
