CAMDEN — Patricia and John Schuckle opened the doors at Green Gables Inn earlier this month to host an open house and tour of their property at 4 Belmont Ave in Camden. Patricia and John purchased the property a few years ago and have been plugging away on the renovations over the years. The property boasts four suites with full kitchens, two of those being pet friendly.

Volunteers and Staff of the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce (PBRCC) were invited as part of the volunteer program as a way to get familiar with some of the member businesses in the Chamber. The chamber offices in Rockland and Camden are visited by tens of thousands of tourists each year and the volunteers are busy making daily referrals.

If you are a Chamber member and would like to schedule a volunteer tour of your business or you are interested in becoming a PBRCC volunteer, please contact Carisa Carney at carisa@penbaychamber.com. The PBRCC is always looking for volunteers in its Camden and Rockland offices.

The 3rd largest chamber in the State of Maine (and the largest chamber representing smaller, coastal communities), the PBRCC is also one of the largest membership-driven community organizations in the area. The Chamber represents the coming together of businesses, non-profits, government, and citizens in support of a vibrant and growing region with unparalleled quality of life and quality of place.
