BELFAST — This winter the Belfast Garden Club Evening Lecture Series co-sponsored by the Belfast Free Library, has focused on new approaches to garden design for resiliency and conservation.

The final program on Tuesday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m. will be a presentation by Rebecca Goldenthal on Container Gardening. The talk will be offered in person in the Abbott Room and on Zoom. To register for the Zoom link please go to https://belfastlibrary.org/events/ and find the link. (Click here to register)

A container can hold so much more than you think: long-blooming beauty, variety, and visual surprises. Through this presentation, Goldenthal will demonstrate how to add color and interest to our gardens with container plantings, including native plants.

Rebecca Goldenthal has more than 20 years of experience container gardening. Coming from an artistic background, she uses form, shape, and architectural components to explore a unique approach to container gardening. She is the founder of In Full Bloom Container Gardens, which operates throughout midcoast and southern Maine.
