NOBLEBORO — Frank W. Cunningham, 59, died July 31, 2014, at his home in Nobleboro.

He was born July 12, 1955, in Damariscotta to Maurice W. Cunningham Jr. and Susan Trask Cunningham. Frank grew up in Nobleboro and graduated from Lincoln Academy in the Class of 1974. He worked for Brown's Homestead while he was in high school.

He worked at Bath Iron Works for five years. He later worked as truck driver for many years hauling lumber, delivering auto parts and driving tractor trailers. He enjoyed collecting Elvis memorabilia and loved his music.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Waldoboro, Cancer Support Group from the church and the Nobleboro Community Hall Committee. He served on the Nobleboro Planning Board and as a volunteer firefighter for the town. He helped start the Damariscotta Lake Snowmobile Club.

He was predeceased by his father, Maurice Cunningham Jr.; and by a sister, Barbara Cunningham.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sheena Cunningham of Nobleboro; his stepsons, Steve A. Moulton Jr. of Waldoboro and Shawn A. Moulton of Nobleboro; his grandson, Gavin Grindal of Waldoboro; his sister, Eva Williams of Nobleboro; his brothers, Maurice W. Cunningham III of Maryland and Paul A. Cunningham of Whitefield; as well as his nieces and nephews

A service to celebrate Frank's life will be held on Friday, Aug. 8 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Waldoboro, 71 Grace Ave. in Waldoboro. Should friends desire, contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Waldoboro, 71 Grace Avenue, Waldoboro, ME 04572.
