ROCKLAND — Someone now possesses a flower box freshly planted full of pansies, which were reportedly stolen this week off the front of the Winding Way Bed & Breakfast and Art Gallery in Rockland.

Winding Way is located at 39 Union St., and according to the proprietors, Anne and Jon McMath, they arrived at the B&B Wednesday and discovered the newly planted flowers and the box they were planted in gone.

”We plant the window boxes in early spring so people going south on Union Street will have something bright to look at during our slowly arriving spring,” said the McMaths.

If anyone has information about the missing flower box and the pilfered pansies, they can call and leave a message at 593-7955.
