Elizabeth ”Libby” (Thomas) Dudley, 86, passed away in Belfast on June 21, 2015. She was born April 25, 1929, in Morrill, to Hosea and Theoda (Gordon) Thomas.

Elizabeth attended school in Morrill and Belfast, worked in poultry and shoe manufacturing in Belfast for many years as well as at the Yankee Clipper Motel. She enjoyed sewing, reading, doing puzzles with her friends, Rosalie and Fred, and quilting, as well as going to yard sales with her husband, Francis. She loved her cats very much.

She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters; her husband, Frank Patterson; and her step-daughter, Gail Knowlton. Libby is survived by her husband, Francis Dudley of Belfast and his children, Brent, April, Farley, Dale and Steve Dudley; her stepchildren, Gary Oxton, Beverly Grant, Marilyn Cook and Frank Patterson Jr.; several special step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thank you to April Dudley for her help in caring for Libby during her illness.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 27 at 10 a.m. at Grove Cemetery in Belfast with the Rev. David Pouchot officiating.
