December Book Sale at Rockport library, Dec. 1 - 2

Event has passed

ROCKPORT — On Friday, December 1, and Saturday, December 2, from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m., the Friends of the Rockport Public Library will host a big book sale just in time for the holidays.

The library's lower level will be packed with gently used books, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, and puzzles appealing to all ages and tastes, according to Friends, in a news release. Volunteers will keep book tables stocked full of fiction, nonfiction, mystery, Maine-themed, exciting “specials”, and more.

Most items priced between $.50 and $5. Annual Friends members receive 10% off all purchases. Only cash or checks can be accepted. Proceeds from the book sale will benefit the Rockport Public Library.

Please contact the library at 207-236-3642 (or stop in) if you would like to volunteer at the sale. Assistance is needed with the sale set-up and breakdown (moving tables and books), cashiering, and restocking tables. Some perks of volunteering include free books, fun, and gratitude from the community of book-lovers.
