SWANVILLE — Carold Bowen, 80, of Swanville, went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Feb. 6, 2016. He was born Dec. 17, 1935, in Belfast, the son of Lewis and Louise (Hopkins) Bowen.

Carold served in the U.S. Army.

He was predeceased by his parents; and his wife, Donna Knight Bowen; his sisters, Elise, Arlene, Emma and Priscilla; and his brothers, Lewis, Harrison, Wallace, Russell, Otis and Harold Bowen.

Carold is survived by two sisters, Mildred Wellman and Lois McIntire; his special dog, Sadie; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside committal will be announced in the spring.

Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home.
