Camden Hills boys, girls basketball fall to Hampden Academy

ROCKPORT — Both the Camden Hills boys and girls varsity basketball teams were in action against Hampden Academy Thursday night at home in Rockport.

Boys Basketball

The Camden Hills varsity boys basketball team fell to a 7-4 record on the season with a 74-49 loss to Hampden Academy on Thursday, Jan. 18. 

The Windjammers will be back in action again Friday, Jan. 19 on the road against Nokomis with a 6:30 p.m. start time. 

In the Thursday contest, Camden Hills held a first quarter advantages of 15-13 before Hampden Academy took a 34-19 lead into the half and held a 52-33 advantage after three quarters.

Girls Basketball

The Camden Hills varsity girls basketball team fell to a 1-10 record this season with a 60-40 loss to Hampden Academy on Thursday, Jan. 18. 

The Windjammers will be back in action again Friday, Jan. 19 at home against Nokomis with a 6:30 p.m. start time. 

In the Thursday contest, Hampden Academy held quarterly advantages of 13-11, 26-18 and 45-28.
