BELFAST — Waldo County General Hospital welcomes Ashleigh Knoeferl, PA-C, to its Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team.
 
Knoeferl attended the University of New England in Portland where she earned her master’s in physician assistant studies. She completed her Orthopedic APP Fellowship Graduate at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina, and holds a bachelor’s in anthropology with a minor in Islamic studies from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.

Prior to joining Waldo, Knoeferl was an orthopedic physician’s assistant at WakeMed Hospital System in Raleigh.
