BELFAST — The 19th Annual Belfast Poetry Festival seeks creative proposals from poets, performers, artists, and workshop facilitators interested in participating in this year’s festival, which takes place October 18-20, 2024 in downtown Belfast.

Founded in 2004, the Belfast Poetry Festival is an all-arts festival with poetry as the driving force, a feast of poetry, community, and artistic possibility.

For the 2024 festival, organizers are seeking proposals for poetry readings, performing arts experiences, collaborative multi-genre experiences, craft workshops, visual arts installations, circus arts, and other community-centered activities celebrating creative expression.

Proposals are due by April 15, 2024 and can be sent to belfastpoetryfestival@gmail.com, with “2024 BPF proposal” in the subject line. Submissions will be reviewed by the Festival Steering Committee and selected participants will be notified by May 15, 2024.
