Maine Arts Commission Coming to Belfast Looking for Feedback for its Cultural and Strategic Planning Process

The Maine Arts Commission is coming to Waterfall Arts in Belfast on Thursday, April 24 from 10 to 11:30am. MAC is looking for artists, arts organizations, economic development professionals, educators, government & elected officials, tourism officials and anyone who is passionate about the arts, to attend this feedback meeting.

MAC Executive Director, Julie Richard, who will attend the meeting, said "The purpose of these meetings is to inform us of your perceptions of the cultural industry in Maine – both positive and negative, to learn about any current relationships that exist across sectors and the results they are yielding – we want to support what's working! We want to explore potential benefits and outcomes of smarter partnerships between the arts and culture sector and other sectors and to lay tracks for surveying or any other type of input from these various sectors that makes sense."

All are welcome to attend. For more information or to register, visit www.waterfallarts.org or call 338-2222. Waterfall Arts is located at 256 High Street in Belfast.
