American Legion War Memorial Post #30 is proudly displaying their new building sign on the hall at 91 Pearl Street in Camden. The old sign came down some time ago as it was in disrepair from the many seasons of weather.

The new sign went up on Friday, August 28th under the guidance of Norm Carver, Cecil Dennison and John Hyssong with the watchful eye of the ladies to ensure it went up straight and proud. Of course there were a few legion supervisors on hand as well to see the placement.

The Legion Post meets the 1st Thursday of the month at 7pm, coffee is always on and the post is looking to re-establish itself in the local community as an avenue for Veterans to come and enjoy the fellowship with other Veterans. If you are a veteran and would like to see about joining, because we know you’re out there, call the Commander, Frank Carr at 236-3310 or the Adjutant, Jeff Sukeforth at 691-2270 for information.

The next meeting of the post will be Thursday, September 3rd at 7pm.
