Lincolnville Community Library, 208 Main Street in Lincolnville Center, will present “Inspiration to Publication,” a talk by writing coach Kathrin Seitz and author Judi Valentine, on Wednesday, June 7, at 7 p.m., free and open to the public.

Seitz will describe “method writing,” a process she teaches that writers, both beginning and experienced, can use to find their own unique voices and create publishable works. Valentine, who studied with Seitz, will tell about the development, from first “spark” to publication, of “The Crystal Chain,” her new novel for young readers.

Seitz is a writer, editor and producer who worked in Los Angeles and New York City. Valentine, in addition to writing youth fiction, memoir and crime tales, is a clinical nutritionist and has coauthored a book on healthy eating.
