ROCKPORT: Tuesday, October 27 Aldermere Achievers 4-H Club invites the public to dine out and enjoy all natural wood-fired clay oven pizza at Flatbread Company located at 339 Commercial Street (Route 1) in Rockport. A portion of the proceeds will help fund a trip for all twelve 4-H members and their Belted Galloway cattle to travel from Rockport, Maine to Louisville, Kentucky and compete against youth and cattle from across the country in the world’s largest purebred livestock exposition, the North American International Livestock Exchange.

Thanks to strong community support, the Aldermere Achievers have made fast progress raising the $17,000 to fund their trip. With the help of their families, the 4-H members coordinated more than 20 fundraisers this year, including car washes, bake sales and raffles. The Benefit Night at Flatbread Co. on October 27th will be their final fundraiser.

Donations to help fund the Aldermere Achievers’ trip south may be made online at www.gofundme.com/4h-achievers. More information about Aldermere Achievers and other agricultural programs of Aldermere Farm is available online at aldermere.org and at the farm office located at 70 Russell Avenue in Rockport, Maine.
