“Le français au bord de la mer 2016”: Join a dedicated team of experienced volunteer instructors for a weekend of varied activities in a rustic camp setting on the coast of Maine. If you are a French teacher, a high school or college student, or a Francophile adult and you want to live, study, and play entirely in French, please consider participating. Each year we form a community of 50-60 people of varied ages and backgrounds, all dedicated to learning the language and understanding the many cultures of the Francophone world. This immersion weekend is co-sponsored by Penobscot School, French at UMA, the University of Maine Modern Languages Dept., and the Maine Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of French.
