10/27 Cooking Class with Natural Foods Chef Pam McKeen

On Monday, October 27 from 6-8pm, the Belfast Co-op is sponsoring a cooking demonstration with natural foods chef Pam McKeen, who has a diploma from the Chef Training Program at the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts in New York City.

In this class, which will take place in the kitchen of St. Margaret's Church, located at 95 Court Street in Belfast, participants will watch demonstrations and taste samples of the following dairy-free, sugar-free, and gluten-free recipes:

  • Roasted Olives with Citrus and Herbs
  • Dark Leafy Greens with Carmelized Red Onion
  • Roasted Delicata Squash with Orange and Thyme
  • Miso Salmon with Lime-ginger Glaze
Pre-registration is required; there is a $20 materials fee and a twelve participant limit. Participants are asked to bring a plate, silverware, and a cup for sampling.

The community-owned Belfast Co-op, open 7:30am-8pm daily, is located at 123 High Street in downtown Belfast.
