SPRUCE HEAD — Benjamin Deford, 38, son of Mac and Zehra Deford of Rackliff Island in Spruce Head, died unexpectedly June 2, 2014, in Rhinebeck, NY.
A 1997 graduate of Bard College, he had recently moved to Portland from the Hudson Valley in New York.
His friends held a gathering in his memory at Bard College June 12, 2014. A memorial service will be held at his parents house on Rackliff Island on Saturday, July 12, at 4 p.m.
Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home.
