Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases
ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Criminal Court from Dec. 28 - Jan. 1. The Unified Criminal Court is a system for processing criminal actions and certain associated civil violation actions. It is expected to increase efficiency by eliminating the duplicative clerical workload created by the current system of case transfer between the District and Superior Court by reducing the number of court appearances required to process individual cases, according to the State of Maine Judicial Branch.
Nathan J. Ankers, 18, of Washington, attaching false plates, dismissed; failure to register motor vehicle, $150 fine.
Destiny L. Barrett, 23, of Rockland, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, five days in jail, $5.21 restitution.
Dana Barter, 56, of Union, operating under the influence, one prior, $700 fine, seven days in jail, license suspended three years.
Brandon Betts, 18, of Warren, minor consuming liquor, $200 fine.
Tonya M. Bober, 31, of Rockland, failure to register vehicle, $250 fine.
Elijah C. Burnham, 26, of Waldoboro, failure to register vehicle, $250 fine.
Caitlin Carpenter, 28, of Lincolnville, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, $500 fine.
Christine R. Cohen, 32, of Thomaston, burning prohibited material, $100 fine.
Nicholas Cole, 30, of Rockland, operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, $750 fine.
Jared A. Daniels, 34, of Camden, operating vehicle without license, $150 fine.
Donald F. Demmons, Jr., 50, of Warren, use of drug paraphernalia, $300 fine.
Stephen B. Grant, 36, of Rockport, false public alarm or report, $250 fine; failure to make oral or written accident report, $250 fine.
Ross Howard, 32, of Waldoboro, operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, $750 fine.
Shelley Landers, 46, of Warren, commercial shellfishing without a license, first offense, $316 fine.
Joshua Louder, 23, of Thomaston, operating vehicle without a license, dismissed; operating while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine; operating under the influence, $500 fine, license suspended 150 days.
Anne E. Mahle, 48, of Rockland, operating vehicle without license, $150 fine.
Chandra Moholland, 39, of Thomaston, burning prohibited material, $250 fine.
Gregory A. Rogerson, Jr., 34, of Camden, operating while license suspended or revoked, $500 fine; operating vehicle without license, $250 fine.
Destinee R. Smith, 19, of Waldoboro, fishing for or taking shellfish from closed area, $300 fine.
Zackary H. Woodbury, 35, of Waldoboro, illegal possession of firearm, 90 days in jail.
