Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases
ROCKLAND— The following cases were closed in Knox County Criminal Court from Dec. 7-11. The Unified Criminal Court is a new system for processing criminal actions and certain associated civil violation actions. It is expected to increase efficiency by eliminating the duplicative clerical workload created by the current system of case transfer between the District and Superior Court by reducing the number of court appearances required to process individual cases, according to the State of Maine Judicial Branch.
Dustin E. Barrows, 32, of Northport, operating without safety equipment, $100 fine.
Brenda Elliott, 56, of Union, violating condition of release, dismissed; cultivating marijuana, $1,000 fine; possession of marijuana, up to 1 ¼ ounce, dismissed.
Jacqueline E. Johnson, 36, of Rockland, burglary of a motor vehicle, $500 fine.
Thomas H. Powell, 24, of Friendship, operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, attaching false plates, violating condition of release, displaying fictitious vehicle certificate, all dismissed; violating condition of release, five days in jail; unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine, five days in jail.
Kimberly A. Vieira, 41, of Rockport, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, two counts, $400 fine, 80 days in jail.
Robert R. Walker, no age listed, of Vinalhaven, possessing lobster beyond minimum or maximum, $700 fine.
