Waldoboro Police beat: Criminal mischief and damage to schools, falling asleep while driving
WALDOBORO - Waldoboro police responded to 246 calls for service from July 7-14. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
July 7
Officer Larry Hesseltine is investigating a complaint from Medomak Valley High School of criminal mischief to the building where someone attempted entry.
July 9
Hesseltine is investigating a complaint from Miller School of damage to a window.
Hesseltine is investigating a complaint from a resident that she is receiving harassing phone calls.
July 10
Colleen Lopes, 37, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Officer Chris Spear for a violation of conditional release.
Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated an accident on Atlantic Highway at 7:52 a.m. Barbara Seaver, 49, of Nobleboro, was driving a 2013 Hyundai sedan. Seaver fell asleep and went off the roadway into the wooded area. No injuries were reported.
July 12
Megan Wilson, 18, of Thomaston, was issued a summons by Spear for operating after suspension.
